“Visioni Incontra”, the Industry Forum and Pitching contest dedicated to projects in search of funding, is officially opened
The 5th International Documentary Festival Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà scheduled in Milan from 12 to 15 September, will host “Visioni Incontra”, the Industry Forum and Pitching contest dedicated to projects in search of funding

The 4th edition of Visioni Incontra Pitching Contest will take place on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 September. Visioni Incontra is the Industry section of the “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà “ Festival and is organized by the Frankie Show Biz srl production Company.
After last year’s successful edition, which saw the extraordinary participation of over 150 professionals including television editors, theater circuits, platforms, independent producers, distributors, acquisition managers, sales agents and festival directors, the organizers present the 4th edition of Visioni Incontra, the Industry section exclusively by invitation dedicated to accredited professionals, which will be held in the first two days of the Festival at the prestigious Teatro Litta, one of the most significant masterpieces of the architecture in Lombardy.
Visioni Incontra presents docu projects, still work in progress, that narrate about contemporary reality. Such projects will be pitched by the directors and producers in front of a professional community of broadcasters, commissioning editors, distributors, buyers, producers, sales agents, festival directors. Furthermore Visioni Incontra staff organizes individual appointments between the parties – one-to-one meetings – to help find financing, co-productions and distribution agreements for the projects. In addition to the pitching contest , Visioni Incontra hosts several panels and round tables, as well as useful and pleasant networking moments.
From today the 28th of February and until the 15th of June the participants can submit their projects through the online registration procedure ENTRY FORM available on the Festival site www.visionidalmondo.it
The Projects should be of Italian production, should be premieres, not already pitched at other festivals, and already funded for 30% of the budget. The projects selection will be carried out by the Festival’s directors and by the selection committee. The winning project will receive the “Visioni Incontra Best Documentary Project” award, and a prize of 2500 euro
