the theme of the 2021 edition

Two Competitive Sections:

– Italian Competition with two categories, addressed to Italian filmmakers

– International Competition, addressed to foreign productions

The 7th International Documentary Festival Visioni dal Mondo, founded and directed by Francesco Bizzarri with the artistic direction of Maurizio Nichetti, as of today, March 2nd, is open to submissions for the 2021 edition.

The main theme of the 7th edition will be “ Unmasking the present – building a better future”.

To submit your film please fill out the online form, available from today, March 2nd, on the official website of the Festival www.visionidalmondo.it. There are two competitive sections to which you can apply:

Italian Contest dedicated to Italian filmmakers, which includes 2 categories :

– Italian Premiere of feature and medium-length films with a duration over 50′, completed after 1st of January 2020.

– Italian Premiere of short and medium-length films with a duration under 50′ completed after 1st of January 2020.

International Contest dedicated to foreign independent productions of feature films with a duration over  65′, completed after 1 January 2020.

The deadline for submitting entries to the competitions is 7 June 2021, and the entry forms are available on the website (www.visionidalmondo.it).
