The “Visioni dal Mondo” 6th International Documentary Festival presented the fifth edition of “Visioni Incontra”, dedicated to the “Industry forum” with the pitching Contest for “Best Italian documentary project”. Projects mean documentaries still in the “work in progress” phase. It took place from Thursday 17th to Saturday 19th September 2020.
The aim of “Visioni Incontra” is to promote a quality selection of Italian projects of contemporary creative documentaries, that are still work in progress
Such projects has been pitched by the directors/producers in front of a professional community of broadcasters, commissioning editors, distributors, tv buyers, buyers, producers, sales agents, festivals directors.
“Visioni Incontra” this year took place online in an original formula:
Best Documentary Project Contest “Visioni Incontra”: 12 Italian projects have competed for the prize; the directors and producers had 10′ to pitch their projects and to show some footage. The Industry registered and accredited decision makers have followed the on line presentation of the projects.
One on one meetings: through the platform available on the website, Visioni Incontra organized one to one meetings between the directors/producers of the project in competition and the decision makers interested in meeting them.
