Scab Vendor is the feature film about the life of Jonathan Shaw, a legend in the tattoo industry and underground art community. The filmmakers tell the personal story of a highly influential artist and traveller, who lived a life of filmmaking on the edge and without boundaries.
Using Jonathan Shaw’s personal archive, the documentary film traces his entire life, offering a compelling look at his relationship with his parents, his substance abuse, his connection to the spiritual world, his surreal relationships and experiences, and his ultimate redemption through art and writing.
