Brief Synopsis:

Making its world premiere at Sheffield Doc Fest 2024, “Murmuration” is a virtual reality short that explores the theme of migration through the eyes of Kanope, a young Nigerian determined to reach Europe. Inspired by real-life stories of young migrants who made their way from Africa to Italy between 2015 and 2021, “Murmuration” is set in a world that fluctuates between fairy tale and dream, and invites viewers to immerse themselves in Kanope’s journey as he explores challenges, hopes and difficulties in the search of a better life.
