Brief Synopsis:

“Lou” is a virtual reality experience that offers a deep immersion into the life of a young man with autism. Based on real stories and experiences and inspired by the directors’ children, Martine Asselin and Annick Daigneault, the film allows viewers to experience Lou’s everyday life first-hand, from a birthday party to his first day of high school. Through Lou’s eyes and ears, we are able to see his fascination, his interests, his nervous breakdowns and moments of sensory overload that characterize his existence. This interactive and metaphorical experience allows viewers to better understand autism and the coping mechanisms needed to navigate a neurotypical world.
