Often while driving on roads , or walking in the city, our attention is caught by  street art’s works, which is, by its very nature, public and free and that is changing the urban landscape. However, what’s behind those painted walls? Who are the artists? Hence this film born from the idea of ​​discovering and telling the Street Art through the life and works of one of its protagonists, Manu Invisible. The aim is to capture all the hidden and secret scenes of this very popular art, criticised by some, appreciated by others, and making it ‘available’ to everybody.

“Scripta Manent is born from the desire to fully discover and understand the world of street art through Manu Invisible. The artist wears a mask and does not release interviews, so maintaining  the mystery linked to his personality. He accepted to be filmed during the unauthorized realizations of his work. The documentary purpose is to show the street art for what it really is: a creative process, which requires passion, hours and hours of work and commitment. It is transgressive, but free and it has nothing to do with terms like disfigurement and contamination, used by the lawmakers to define this type of crime.” (Giorgia Ripa)
