“I’ve been producing television for more than 10 years and this simple, personal documentary has been one of the most challenging, yet rewarding experiences in my career. When I look back at the almost 3 years it took to make this film I am still surprised to see how little of my original plan made it to the screen and how many unexpected moments shaped the story of my exploration of Facebook. When my son started asking if he could join, and why I wasn’t on Facebook, I thought I had found the perfect catalyst to fulfill a lifelong goal of directing my first documentary feature.”
