Yesterday the second edition of Visioni Incontra, the Industry section of the 3rd International Documentary Festival A Window on the World, Images from Reality that took place from the 5th to the 6th of October at the UniCredit Pavilion concluded with great successand an extradordinary participation of professionals of the field. More than 150 accredited professionals of the field were present and more than 100 one-to-one meetings took place.
Organized by the UniCredit Pavilion and the production company FRANKIESHOWBIZ, the Festival, dedicated to the investigation and the storytelling of contemporarity, concluded with success the second edition of Visioni Incontra, two days for the Industry section – only on invitation and exclusively dedicated to the field – coordinated by Cinzia Masòtina.
Visioni Incontra took place in front of a full parterre of professionals of the field, broadcasters commissioning editors, distributors, tv buyers, buyers, independent producers, sales agents, directors of Festivals, to support independent directors and producers in order to make known their projects, to network and to find financing. Among the 15 documentaries work in progress, which competed in the section Visioni Incontra, it is Gli ultimi butteri by Walter Bencini which was awarded yesterday with the prize Migliore Progetto Documentario, worth 2.500 euro, offered by the production company FRANKIESHOWBIZ.
