The last term for sending “work-in-progress projects” and take part to “Visioni Incontra”, the industry section dedicated to the professional community of the 4th edition of the international documentary festival “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà” (Milan, September 13/16), is extended to Sunday 24th June 2018.
“Visioni Incontra” is coordinated by Cinzia Masotina, scriptwriter and story editor; it will take place during the Festival’s first days, Thursday 13th and Friday 14th, at la Triennale di Milano, Viale Alemagna 6. “Visioni Incontra” proposes to select several “still work in progress” docs with a particular reference to our current reality, with the purpose of present them in a pitching session to a public of audio-visual area professionals. Furthermore, after the pitching session, Visioni Incontra staff will organize and manage one to one meetings between the producers/directors of the selected projects and the industry community attending the forum.
“Visioni Incontra” will organize also insights about the audio-visual scenery through panels and round tables.
To participate it is necessary to fill in the entry form available on the website www.visionidalmondo.it, at the industry section. The competition is open to Italian independent productions. It is considered italian production: if 50% or more of the film’s funding originated from sources within Italy; italian minority co-productions provided the director is of Italian nationality. It is considered independent production a production not totally funded by the broadcasters. The projects should be funded for at least 30 % of the estimated budget. Projects will be selected by a committee of experts of the Festival, within 24th June 2018. Project selection will be managed by experts’ committee. “VISIONI INCONTRA” will award for the best project a prize of € 2,500.
