The press conference of the 4th International Documentary Festival “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà” (“A Window on the World, Images from Reality”) took place at la Triennale di Milano on 19th july 2018.
During the press conference Managing Director Francesco Bizzarri and the Artistic Director Fabrizio Grosoli presented the programme of the 4th edition, lots of contents and news, as the locations: la Triennale di Milano, the main location, the cultural center Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation and Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia “Leonardo da Vinci”.
The 2018 edition, rich and varied, is one of the main events of the programme, promoted by Comune di Milano, Milan MovieWeek, the week dedicated to the seventh art, theatrical and audiovisual.
The 4th International Documentary Festival “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà” (“A Window on the World, Images from Reality”) has the patronage of Regione Lombardia, Comune di Milano and 100autori, the association related to cinema and television. The main sponsor is BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas. The fourth edition of the International Documentary Festival “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà” will narrate great themes, news and current affairs, treated, investigated through the “cinema du reel”, a story that overcomes the barriers bringing an authentic point of view able to offer new awareness. Women and courage, society and environment, corruption, gender identity, immigration and the sea as a stage, theater and secular crossroad of war and peace, culture and civilization, storyteller of work and survival, but also a silent spectator of love and pain. And also technology, innovation and the future.
The programme of the 4th International Documentary Festival “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà” (“A Window on the World, Images from Reality”) will present a selection of national and international premieres with authors and international directors, masterclass, meetings and panel insights.
