Slopping is the technical term to explain the reaction between oxygen and carbon monoxide during the steel production phase. It is an oversight of the production cycle and takes the shape of a reddish smoke. In Taranto this phenomenon happens hundreds of times since over 50 years, pink powders carried by the wind create a new level of perception of the landscape. Through a group of teenagers and a naturalist researcher Ogni cosa rosa tells about Taranto on a June’s day. Thanks to this submerged humanity, the film identifies a process of re-modulation of the environment and of the people as a form of spontaneous repossession of the territory.
